Terms of service

1.Agreeing to these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and MedFind AI (Lexington, Kentucky, USA) for the website at medfindai.com and the app at app.medfindai.com (the "Service"). By using the Service or creating an account, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service, and if you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you.

2.What MedFind AI is

MedFind AI helps you find places to get care. You describe what you need in plain language and the Service shows nearby facilities on a map with details such as hours, distance and, where available, provider and insurance information. Some summaries are written by AI and are labeled as such.

3.Not medical advice, not for emergencies

• MedFind AI is an information tool. It does not give medical advice, diagnose conditions, recommend treatment or tell you which facility is right for you.
• It is not an emergency service. In an emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number. Do not wait for search results.
• Decisions about care are yours, made with a qualified health professional. Using the Service does not create a doctor-patient or any other care relationship.

4.Facility information can be wrong

Facility details come from third parties, including Google, public government datasets (CMS NPPES, HRSA, CMS Care Compare), insurer directories and AI summaries of public web pages. This information may be incomplete, out of date or wrong, including hours, services offered, whether a facility is open, which insurance it accepts and whether it is taking new patients. Always confirm directly with the facility, and with your insurer for coverage, before relying on it.

5.Accounts

Give accurate information when you sign up and keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account. One person per account; accounts may not be shared or resold. Tell info@medfindai.com right away if you think someone else has used your account.

6.Free searches and paid plans

• Without an account: a small number of free searches.
• Free account: a few more free searches once your email is verified. Free searches are limited to one free account per person.
• 30-day pass: $7, one time. Unlimited searches for 30 days from purchase. It is not a subscription and does not renew; nothing is charged again unless you buy another pass.
• Monthly: $10 per month. Unlimited searches while the subscription is active. It renews automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel any time from the account page; you keep access until the end of the month already paid for, and you are not charged again.

"Unlimited" means no monthly search count. To keep the Service fair and running for everyone, paid plans have reasonable daily fair-use limits; if you reach one, you can search again the next day. The exact free search numbers and fair-use limits may change. Prices may also change, but a price change never affects a pass already bought, and a subscriber will be told before a new monthly price applies.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are in U.S. dollars.

7.Refunds

Refunds are handled case by case. If something went wrong, such as a charge you did not expect or a Service problem that kept you from using what you paid for, email info@medfindai.com with the email on your account and a short description, and it will be looked at promptly.

8.Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• scrape, crawl or copy the Service or its results in bulk, or access it with bots, scripts or any other automated means;
• get around search limits, fair-use limits, bot checks or paywalls, for example by creating multiple accounts or rotating network addresses;
• resell, sublicense or build a competing database from the Service's results;
• try to break, overload, probe or reverse engineer the Service, or reach data that is not yours;
• use the Service for anything illegal, to harass anyone, or to enter someone else's personal information without permission.

9.Shared links

You can share results with a link. Anyone with the link can view it for free, and links stop working after 30 days. Only share results with people you intend to see them, and do not put names or other identifying health details into a search you plan to share.

10.Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from the account page; this cancels any subscription and removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy. MedFind AI may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts the Service or other users at risk, or is used for fraud. These terms continue to apply to anything that happened before an account ended.

11.Ownership

The Service, including its software, design and branding, belongs to MedFind AI and its licensors. You may use the results for your own personal or professional care decisions. Map data and some facility data belong to their providers, such as Google, and their terms also apply.

12.No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, MedFind AI makes no promises that the Service will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted or error-free, or that any facility listed is suitable, open, in your network or able to see you.

13.Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, MedFind AI is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from decisions made using information from the Service, including care decisions, delays in care or reliance on facility details that turn out to be wrong. MedFind AI's total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid MedFind AI in the 12 months before the claim, or $10. Some places do not allow some of these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

14.Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be settled informally by email first will be decided in the state or federal courts located in Fayette County, Kentucky, and you and MedFind AI agree to those courts' jurisdiction.

15.Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the Service changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. For significant changes, signed-in users will be told by email or in the app before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
